The first mailer of the SXSW Eco season was a bit of a challenge. After our highly successful inaugural year we had a new and meatier list to market to, but content for 2012 was thin so far out from the event. The solution was to promote our ideas for 2012, but also look back on 2011, highlighting our noteworthy alumni and featuring quotes from the press and testimonials from speakers.

As a result of our first mailing, coupled with e-blasts and social media announcements, registration is up over 100% from the same time last year.
